MacMurray and Kaeuper recognized as industry leaders by ACEC
MacMurray is C&S’s chairman of the board and has been with the firm for nearly 40 years. The Engineer of the Year Award is presented annually to recognize a member who has made significant contributions to the consulting engineering profession, ACEC, and his or her community. MacMurray has continuously served as a national spokesman for the engineering profession through his many roles at ACEC, including as national chairman and president of ACEC-New York. He is an active member of not-for-profits and educational institutions, including volunteer roles with SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry, Onondaga Community College, Syracuse University, Boy Scouts of America, Upstate Medical University Foundation, WCNY Public Television, National Society of Professional Engineers, American Society of Civil Engineers, and American Society of Military Engineers.
Kaeuper is a C&S’s regional manager of transportation services, leading the firm’s bridge and highway design practice in Rochester and across Western New York. The New Principal of the Year is presented each year honor an individual who has been a principal for fewer than five years and who has exhibited invigorating ideas and has made significant contributions to the consulting engineering community. In his four years as a principal at C&S, Kaeuper has been the driver behind project selection, scoping, contracts, and the delivery of federally aided projects for the City of Rochester; Chautauqua, Livingston, Monroe, Wayne, and Erie counties; and other local governments. His 15 years of experience includes bridge structure design, inspection, and construction.
MacMurray and Kaeuper were honored along with other award recipients at the ACEC New York annual meeting at the Union League Club in New York City on June 13.
