Employees take home third place in Cleveland Plane Pull for charity
This year C&S was proud to be a sponsor of the Cleveland Hopkins International Airport 3rd Annual Cleveland Plane Pull, which benefitted Special Olympics of Ohio. The event, which took place on July 14, pits teams of “pullers” against each other to see who can pull a 150,000-pound Boeing 737-900 airplane across the finish line in the fastest time. Trophies were awarded to the top three teams in each category: Men, Co-Ed & Public Safety. C&S entered both a men’s and co-ed team and everyone put in a valiant effort. In fact, our men’s team brought home the third place trophy! Overall 27 teams participated in the event. Together C&S’s two teams raised more than $2,160, contributing to a grand total raised by the event of $33,796. The funds raised help the Special Olympics of Ohio to provide year-round sports training and competition opportunities for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
