Marc Champigny joins C&S as aviation planning manager

Champigny,-MarcC&S is proud to announce that Marc Champigny has joined the firm as manager of the firm’s aviation planning group. With nearly 20 years of diverse aviation experience, he brings considerable expertise in planning, financial, strategic, safety, security, and operational services. Marc was previously director of US aviation at Louis Berger Group, where he directed and managed projects relating to airport master and system planning, environmental, site and financial feasibility, market comparables, strategic planning and management, rate analysis and economic impact assessments, and various on-call aviation programs. He has worked as an operations coordinator at Morristown Municipal Airport (NJ) and in the public sector for the New York State Department of Transportation’s Aviation Services Bureau. In his decades-long consulting career, he worked with many airport clients on critical planning assignments, including:

  • Massachusetts DOT Aeronautics
  • Port Authority of New York & New Jersey
  • Westchester County Airport (NY)
  • Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority
  • Orange County Airport (NY)
  • Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport

Champigny is a licensed private pilot and a member of a number of aviation organizations, including the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE), Airports Council International – North America (ACI-NA), Airports Consultants Council (ACC), and several regional and state-level organizations. He received a bachelor of science in aviation business administration- aviation management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and a master’s of business administration from The College of Saint Rose. He is based in Albany, New York.
