Construction Services
From construction management to turnkey design build solutions, C&S provides a full menu of construction services that you can count on for the municipal, healthcare, property management /commercial real estate, hospitality, education, and industrial markets. We combine new-generation estimating, scheduling, and management systems with qualified construction personnel—ensuring that your project is well planned and executed in a manner that promotes trust and confidence.

  • Design Build—Design build provides complete design and construction with a single point of accountability. This approach opens the lines of communication and removes the owner from acting as an intermediary between design professionals and contractors. The turnkey process allows early procurement of critical materials and scheduling of labor.
  • General Construction—Once contract documents are complete, C&S general contracting services engages a group of subcontractors with a proven track record of performance. Our established relationships with these subcontractors strengthen our ability to deliver quality projects.
  • Construction Management at Risk—In construction management at risk, C&S assumes the risk of holding the construction contracts and guaranteeing completion of the project. This approach also provides all of the benefits of preconstruction services. We use an open book approach to construction that promotes trust and involves the owner in the decision-making process.
  • Agency Construction Management—Starting with pre-construction, our construction managers form a collaborative team that provides constructability reviews, value engineering, complete bid documents, and review and selection of contractors. During construction we provide scheduling, coordination, general administration, issue resolution, and budget control. Our job doesn’t end when the contractors finish. We complete project documentation and final contractor pay requests and deliver operations and maintenance training.

Engineering Services

  • Facility Engineering and Planning—We provide in-house structural, mechanical/HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, security, and electrical engineering design services for new buildings and building rehabilitation, renovation, and expansion. Licensed engineers are involved in the design, development of contract documents, and contract administration for all projects.
