Design Engineer

C&S is seeking to fill the position of Design Engineer to support airport residential sound insulation projects in southern California in our San Diego office. Responsibilities include drafting/writing contract specifications, cost estimates and creating installation details.
Required Skills
Ideal candidates will have experience in the design of HVAC systems and construction inspection. A BS degree in engineering, architecture or related field along with a minimum of 2 years comparable engineering and light commercial construction oriented field work required. Must have AutoCAD, MS office software experience. This position requires out of town travel up to 2 weeks per month. Candidate will have the opportunity to advance to a Project Management position. Attention to detail and great communications skills are vital to success in this position.
