Madison County Emergency Communications/E911 System

C&S was retained by Madison County, New York to provide program management services for the development of a new county-wide emergency communication system. The $20 million program consists of a complete overhaul of the existing communications system with a trunked land mobile radio network (TLMR). The project consists of several phases including scoping and concept design of the new system, coverage design, frequency licensing, site development/construction, equipment procurement, and system implementation.

Services provided to the county by C&S consist of:

• Development of RFPs for consultants and contractors

• Consultant and contractor evaluations

• Contract negotiation and development

• Technical reviews

• Schedule and budget review

• Consultant and contractor management

• General program administration
