QuieterSchool—Our Lady of Victory

The Kenton County Airport Board administers the aircraft noise insulation program at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport to provide sound insulation measures to neighboring schools following the guidelines of the Federal Aviation Administration.

Work at Our Lady of Victory school included new acoustical windows and doors, curtain wall framing and glazing, half-height brick wall, ceilings, soffits, chases, steel structural supports for mechanical units, fencing and gate for a temporary staging area, a chiller enclosure with foundations and equipment supports.

Work also included abatement of lead and asbestos in building areas impacted by construction of this project. New mechanical work includes providing a hot water heating and air-conditioning system and controls, including two boilers, a chiller with underground chilled water piping, pumps and condensate piping, air handling units, louvers, insulated ductwork, VAV ceiling diffusers, and fire dampers. Project includes startup, testing, balancing and training. The new electrical work includes a new electrical service, lights, switchgear, lighting transformers, motor feeders, and subpanels.
