C&S designs AMOS Project calendar
C&S is excited to partner with the AMOS Project by designing and sponsoring a 2010 calendar and almanac. The AMOS Project is an effort to collectively capture the stories of cutting-edge Central New York educational institutions, research centers, and businesses who develop green technology and methods of sustainability. From the AMOS Project headquarters in downtown Syracuse, and online at www.TheAMOSProject.com, new channels of collaboration are being forged.
Local meteorologist Dave Eichorn partnered with the AMOS Project to develop the calendar and spread the word about local sustainability efforts. The result, Dave Eichorn's Sustainable Seasons calendar, debuted at the New York State Fair and is available for sale at area Wegmans grocery stores and at Carousel Center mall.
In addition to benefitting the AMOS Project, the proceeds from the calendar also support two local organizations dedicated to sustainability and education—Cornell Cooperative Extension of Onondaga County and SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry Science Corps.
