Ron Peckham Named CEO of C&S Companies
C&S is proud to announce that Ron Peckham has been appointed to serve as chief executive officer of the C&S Companies, the family of firms that includes the firm’s engineering, construction management, architecture, construction, and technology solutions business units. Peckham has served as president of the C&S Companies for the past year.
Peckham joined C&S more than 25 years ago. He has served as service group manager for C&S’s airport services group, leading the growth of the firm’s airport business from just a few million dollars a year to well over $10 million. He later took responsibility for all transportation services at C&S, growing highway, bridge, and aviation work to become more than half the firm’s business. Several years ago, Peckham took on an executive role, becoming executive vice president in charge of marketing, business development, business planning and strategic planning. Last year, Peckham was named president, responsible for overseeing the C&S Companies on a day-to-day basis. In these roles he has been instrumental in growing and diversifying C&S, leading to annual revenues that this year will total nearly $70 million.
Peckham has been with C&S since 1984. He is a graduate of Clarkson University and the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Senior Executives Institute and is a licensed professional engineer in 24 states. He will serve as chairman of the national Airport Consultants Council board of directors in the coming year. Peckham served 20 years in the Army Reserve and has supported a number of community groups including Young Life, the Rescue Mission, and the American Heart Association.
