Matt Taylor Joins C&S as National Director of Land Use and Market Strategies

Matt Taylor, AICPMatt joins C&S as our national director of land use and market strategies. He will partner with clients in the aviation and healthcare industries on land use, real estate and planning strategies.

His professional experience includes nearly two decades of planning and development for large-scale public and private entities, including commercial and general aviation airports, hospital campuses, hotels and convention centers, federal installations, urban mixed-use projects, and theme parks. Matt has worked with numerous clients, including NASA, the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority, Universal Studios, Lee County Port Authority, Daytona Beach International Airport, Orlando Health, SantaFe Healthcare, and numerous private developers and public agencies.

Matt holds an MBA in international business from American University, a master of city planning from Georgia Institute of Technology, and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Centre College. He is certified by the American Institute of Certified Planners; a member of Airports Council International, Urban Land Institute, and International Downtown Association; and has received national awards for his work with NASA and the U.S. Air Force. Matt has also authored articles for international publications, including a piece on how airports can leverage their commercial real estate in the February/March 2011 issue of Airport World and an article in the current issue of Global Airport Cities on the risks and rewards for airports when developing commercial properties.
