Information We Gather From You:

Personal Information

We do not collect any personal information from a visitor to our site unless that visitor explicitly and intentionally provides it. Under no circumstances do we collect any personal data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, health, or sex life. If you are simply browsing our site, we do not gather any personal information about you. When we request information about you, only such information as you voluntarily provide will be collected by this Web Site.

There are four ways in which you may explicitly and intentionally provide us with and consent to our collection of certain personal information:

1. E-mail Request for Information to C&S – We encourage visitors to contact us regarding information they view on our website. We use links throughout our site to provide you with the opportunity to contact us via e-mail. Please note that our services are provided under contract or agreement only. Although every effort will be made to respond to your inquiry, such inquiry to any of the C&S Companies does not constitute a contract or agreement for any service or product, which any of the C&S Companies may or may not provide.

2. Article Forwarding Service – Some of our Web Sites offer the ability to e-mail articles to a friend or colleague, including your comments along with the article. Each of these transactions is recorded and both the sender’s and recipient’s e-mail addresses are preserved and analyzed as your protection that third parties do not abuse this service. This information is not used for direct solicitation of either party.

3. On-line Surveys – The C&S Companies, from time to time, will post surveys of interest to specific markets they serve. Participants will be provided with the opportunity to receive the results upon completion of the survey. We collect participants’ names, companies, addresses, phone numbers, and e-mail addresses for the purpose of maintaining survey integrity, for clarifying answers to survey questions and to transmit the results of the survey. We also collect the answers to the survey. Survey results are aggregated and reported as statistical data only. We do not reveal the names of participants nor do we reveal specific responses, except as representative responses that are not attributed to any specific individual or entity.

4. On-line Seminar Enrollment – The C&S Companies sponsors and participates in information exchanges, seminars and professional meetings throughout the year. This Web Site may include the opportunity to enroll in these activities by completing an on-line form. We may request your name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address. We will share this information only with other listed sponsors of the event and only for the purpose facilitating the logistics of that event.

We actively discourage vendors associated with our events from soliciting participants for other purposes, but cannot expressly prevent it. If you feel that you have been unreasonably solicited as a result of your participation in a C&S Companies event, please contact webmaster@cscos.com. We welcome such information and use it in the preparation of future events.

Other services, which include Managed Web Site access, may require the use of user names and passwords for the purpose of restricting access to controlled areas of our Web Sites.

Statistical Information About Your Visit:

When you visit our site, our computers may automatically collect statistics about your visit. This information does not identify you personally, but rather tracks the activity on our Web Sites by IP address. We may use this information to tell us many people visit our site, which pages were most visited and which browsers people use. We use these statistics about your visit for aggregation purposes only to help us improve the performance of this Web Site.

Use of Cookies:

We only use “cookies” in password protected portions of our Web Site, and only to identify users while they maintain an active session on their browser. A “cookie” is a piece of information that our Web Site sends to your browser, which then stores this information on your system. If you choose not to accept a cookie, you will still be able to use the Public (non-password protected) portion our Web Site, although your ability to post and forward information, if such features exist on this Web Site, may be limited.

How Personal Information May Be Used:

We do not share any information we receive from our communication with Web Site visitors with any other entity, nor do we use such information for any purpose not explicitly granted by the visitor supplying the information.

We may:

a) Send you responses and updates of information you have requested from this Web site
b) Facilitate the support, renewal, and purchase of our services
c) Validate your identity (if you are accessing managed sections of a Web site)
d) Disclose all information we have obtained from you to a duly authorized local, state or federal agency, as required by law
e) Request your participation in surveys, based on information you have provided to us and only with your permission to request such participation. Each communication will include the ability to decline of further inquiries.

If you would like to update or correct any information in our records, please contact us via e-mail at webmaster@cscos.com or at the address given at the end of this Privacy Statement.
