The traditional design-bid-build approach remains the most popular delivery method for construction projects in the Northeast. This delivery method provides owners with the most checks and balances because drawings and specifications are complete prior to contractor selection and there are separate entities reporting to the owner, each with distinct roles and responsibilities.
As a general contractor, C&S organizes the project by scope and specialty. We are primarily a self-performing contractor. Our strength is the ability to field a highly trained and motivated workforce who work as part of a team. Through our in-house engineering, architecture, and design-build groups, we have a variety of skilled staff to troubleshoot problems, provide quality assistance, or help with complex regulatory hurdles.
