Energy Auditing/ Measurement & Verification
C&S's energy engineers and certified energy managers (CEMs) analyze facilities' energy usage and evaluation of energy conservation measures, alternative energy options, utility rate and service class adjustments, utility sub-metering, and power quality metering. Systems evaluated include:
- Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
- Building automation/energy management systems
- Electrical/power systems
- Lighting systems
- Building envelope
- Industrial/process systems
With state-of-the-art meters and monitoring equipment, C&S provides preliminary or investment-grade audits and measurement and verification for all building types and uses. We have the ability to perform thermal imaging, flow metering, power usage and quality metering, and short- and long-term monitoring and logging of many building system parameters.
C&S's long-standing relationship with New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) has proven invaluable to our clients located in New York State for energy-related projects as a funding source. As a Flexible Technical Assistance (FlexTech) program consultant, C&S provides cost-shared energy audits. For more information on NYSERDA's FlexTech program, please visit http://www.nyserda.org/programs/flextech.asp.
We can also serve as the program administrator on many of NYSERDA's other incentive programs, including the Commercial/Industrial Performance Program (CIPP), which provides rebates and incentives for the implementation of energy conservation measures.
