Asbestos Management

Asbestos remains a significant concern and has been found in even more materials and locations, even within newly constructed buildings. Our approach to asbestos management is to reduce risks to building owners and operators from issues associated with asbestos-containing materials (ACM). We accomplish this by gaining a thorough understanding of the subject facility through inspections and surveys, developing a comprehensive plan to manage ACM, and implementing asbestos remediation in a logical manner.

C&S maintains in-house certified asbestos managers with the expertise to assist clients with many types of ACM issues. We also maintain ongoing subcontracting arrangements with a network of certified service providers to offer single-source ACM management services.

C&S has provided asbestos management assistance to various public and private clients, including K-12 schools, colleges and universities, municipalities, hospitals, and industrial, commercial, and institutional customers.

Our asbestos management services include:

  • Asbestos management consultation
  • Communication with regulators

  • ACM remediation design
  • Preparation of variance petitions
  • Preparation of plans and specification (e.g., contract documents)
  • Preparation of project cost estimates
