C&S’s engineers can help clients with any type of water distribution project. We regularly design subdivision distribution systems, evaluate existing water systems, and propose improvements to improve domestic and fire protection service. We provide water system services and generate associated cost estimates and tax increase impacts to benefitted properties. We can create computer modeling of existing water systems that evaluates flows, pressures, consumption figures, and system demands. The modeling permits the system owner to evaluate the benefits of various system improvements and determine what improvements are actually necessary. C&S can also work with system owners to develop methods for conserving water by making recommendations for water conserving fixtures and improved landscape management processes. Demand for landscape irrigation can be reduced considerably through the use of native and low-water use plants. On-site rainwater capturing can also be used to both reduce runoff and provide water for irrigation or potentially for building use in toilet fixtures.
