Ronald L. Peckham, P.E., President and CEO
Ronald L. Peckham, P.E., has been with C&S for 27 years and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of C&S, including corporate planning, operations, business development, marketing, and leadership development. During his career, Ron’s responsibilities have included planning, engineering, project and construction management projects with a construction value more than $300 million. This work has involved infrastructure, transportation, facilities, forensic, and other civil engineering assignments. Under his leadership, C&S has consistently expanded its geographic service area and now serves clients nationwide. Ron has been actively involved in developing new markets since 1981. He is responsible for visioning, implementing and facilitating the firm’s strategy for evolution and positioning in an ever- changing and evolving marketplace. Ron also provides leadership for the C&S Companies’ five-year strategic plan. Ron has been active in the Airports Consultants Council (ACC) for more than twenty years. He served as Chairman in 2010, and recently served as facilitator for the development and startup of ACC Security Manufacturers Coalition. Ron has chaired several committees and was actively engaged in the development of ACC’s Institute. Ron is very involved with a number of local community organizations. He currently serves as a member of the advisory board of directors of OnPoint for College and the Hillside Family of Agencies. Both organizations are focused on empowering inner city youth to achieve a college education. In addition, Ron has served on the board of directors of the Rescue Mission, is a member of the American Heart Association Corporate Support Committee, and is a Young Life Committee member. He has a bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering from Clarkson University and is a professional engineer in more than twenty-five states.
Orrin B. MacMurray, P.E., Chairman
Orrin B. “Mac” MacMurray, P.E., joined the organization in 1972, after serving as an officer in the United States Corps of Engineers and participating in active-duty tours at Fort Drum, New York, and in Vietnam. A career that began as an assistant engineer some 20 years earlier, and included his first professional license in 1978 (now licensed in nearly 25 states), progressed to where Mac was elected president of C&S Engineers, Inc., in 1994, serving in that role until 2008. As president, Mac led the effort toward diversifying the company. He has held numerous positions outside of business. Mac has been an active member of his town planning board for over 20 years, having held the position of chairman for 14 of those years. He serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee for the Hiawatha Seaway Council, Inc. of the Boy Scouts of America and is on the Advisory Board for Syracuse University’s School of Engineering. Mac is an active member of the Manufacturers Association of Central New York and Presidents Council at the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry. He is on the advisory board for the L.C. Smith College of Engineering and Computer Science at Syracuse University and is a guest lecturer. Mac is also active in the National Society of Professional Engineers having received the 1997 Engineer of the Year Award for Central New York. He is active in the Water Environment Federation, American Water Works Association, American Society of Civil Engineers, American Society of Military Engineers, and other professional bodies. He is a member of the Greater Syracuse Chamber of Commerce Government Relations Committee, a member of the Central New York Metropolitan Development Association, past president of American Council of Engineering Companies-New York, and past vice chairman of the American Council of Engineering Companies, Inc., board member of Upstate Medical University Foundation in Syracuse and The New York Indoor Environmental Quality Center, a Trustee of WCNY Public Television, and a member of the Onondaga Community College Capitol Campaign Committee. Mac recently completed a term as chairman for the American Council of Engineering Companies for 2007-2008.
John D. Trimble, P.E., LEED AP, President, C&S Engineers, Inc.
John D. Trimble, P.E., is responsible for overseeing all of the company’s technical projects and technical staff. He also executes the strategic and tactical operational plans for C&S, leads in optimizing business functions, and continues to diversify and grow the business nationally. John has been with C&S for more than 20 years. He has also served as C&S’s vice president overseeing facilities design services and as president of our construction management company, C&S Design Build, Inc. Prior to that role, John managed the industrial facilities design group, worked as a general manager for C&S Design Build, project/operations manager for C&S Technical Resources (C&S’s construction company) and design engineer in the transportation design group. John earned a degree in civil/structural engineering from Clarkson University and is a licensed professional engineer in numerous states. He is also a LEED accredited professional through the US Green Building Council.
John F. Spina, Senior Vice President
John F. Spina is senior vice president of C&S Worldwide Holdings, Inc. He began his career at C&S in 1975 and has been a key and pivotal member of the C&S team. John’s leadership and dedication has contributed to the organizational growth and national expansion of the firm. With over 35 years in the industry, John has a broad experience base and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of C&S Worldwide Holdings, which includes human resources, marketing, information technologies, executive leadership, and management. John is actively involved in C&S Companies’ strategic planning process and is responsible for implementation of many aspects of that plan. John serves as a member of the board of directors for the C&S Companies, and is a member of the executive team. In addition, John is a steward of the community and is involved with many organizations. He currently serves as a chairman of the board of directors of Leadership Greater Syracuse. He also serves as president of the board of directors of Partners for Education and Business. He is a graduate of Syracuse University, and is a 1997 graduate of Leadership Greater Syracuse.
Shibel Jabaji, Vice President and General Manager, C&S Design Build, Inc.
Shibel Jabaji the vice president and general manager of C&S Design Build, Inc., the firm’s construction and program management business. He has nearly 30 years of experience in the construction management industry, including extensive expertise in public works construction projects in the K-12 education, healthcare, and housing markets. Shibel is responsible for all day-to-day activities of the firm’s construction and program management practice, which has managed more than $1 billion of projects over just the past few years. He was previously a vice president and project executive at Lend Lease (US) Construction Inc. He received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Dundee College of Technology “University of Abertay”, Dundee, Scotland, UK.
