Matthew Millea joins C&S Albany practice
C&S is proud to welcome Matthew Millea as business development manager and principal of our growing Albany office. He comes to C&S following two decades of service in state and local government and will work with existing and new clients in the Capital Region to identify ways C&S can best serve their communities, businesses, and stakeholders.
He recently served as Governor Andrew Cuomo’s deputy director of state operations, where he was a leader in the Downtown Revitalization Initiative and the $50 million redevelopment of the New York State Fairgrounds. He was previously deputy secretary of state for planning and development. He also served four years as deputy county executive for physical services under Onondaga County Executive Joanie Mahoney. While with the County, he oversaw the $125 million Save the Rain program. Matt is also a veteran of the Department of Environmental Conservation and the Environmental Facilities Corporation, where he served as acting president in 2008 and 2009.
