John Trimble—President and CEO
John is responsible for overseeing all of the company’s design and construction projects and staff. He also executes the strategic and tactical operational plans for C&S, leads in optimizing business functions, and continues to diversify and grow the business nationally. John has been with C&S since 1990. He has also served as C&S’s vice president overseeing facilities design services and as president of our construction management company. Prior to that role, John managed the industrial facilities design group, worked as a general manager for our construction management group, project/operations manager for C&S’s construction company and design engineer in the transportation design group. John earned a degree in civil/structural engineering from Clarkson University and is a licensed professional engineer in numerous states. He is also a LEED accredited professional.
John Spina—Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer
John began his career at C&S in 1975 and his leadership and dedication has contributed to the organizational growth and national expansion of the firm. He has a broad experience base and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of C&S’s administration group, which includes human resources, marketing, business development information technologies, executive leadership, and management. John is on the board of directors for the C&S Companies, and is a member of the executive team. In addition, John is a steward of the community and is involved with many organizations. He currently serves on the board of trustees for the Museum of Science and Technology (MOST) in Syracuse. He previously served as president of the board of directors of Partners for Education and Business and chairman of the board of directors for Leadership Greater Syracuse. He is a graduate of Syracuse University and a 1997 graduate of Leadership Greater Syracuse.
Randy Tuthill—Chief Financial Officer
Randy has more than 30 years of experience in the engineering and construction industries and has spent the last 20 years of his career with C&S. He has worked in a number of roles at the firm, including accountant, controller, director of accounting, and now CFO. His accomplishments include integrating the insurance, external financial review, and accounting software processes and structures to create work efficiencies, control, costs, and support profitability. He is a graduate of SUNY Brockport and Leadership Greater Syracuse.
Eric Quinn—Chief Technology Officer
Eric has been a part of the C&S team for more than 30 years, starting on the engineering team and eventually transitioning to technology and support. He oversees the technological vision of the C&S and leads the Q Ware solution team. Eric is a respected leader in the AEC industry, spearheading innovation and implementing industry-changing technologies. He continues to seek out disruptive technologies, and searches for creative ways to make those technologies into viable solutions for the C&S Companies, the AEC industry and beyond. Eric is a graduate of the University of Northwestern, St. Paul, and is actively involved with leading many of the American Council of Engineering Companies’ technology education initiatives.
Michael Hotaling—Senior Vice President and Aviation Practice Leader
Michael’s entire professional career has been dedicated to assisting airport management find effective solutions to complex issues related to planning and environmental studies, design and construction projects, noise mitigation programs, and creation and deployment of successful community outreach programs. He was a member of the FAA Western Pacific Region’s executive committee charged with developing the first-ever best practices guide for California airports. His projects include master plans, environmental assessments and other specialized planning studies for more than 30 airport sponsors.
Brian Clark—Senior Vice President
Brian is responsible for the strategic and market direction for the Southeast Region through C&S’s Orlando and Tampa offices. He also is a collaborative participant in C&S’s national aviation strategy group. Brian has nearly 15 years of experience in the A/E industry in both business development and operational management, and prior to that, a broad public sector background in public administration and public policy through his work in a business trade association and work in the United States House of Representatives.
Matthew Wenham—Vice President
Matt Wenham leads the engineering and construction teams in the aviation group. His more than 20 years of experience include planning, design, and construction of all aspects of airport improvement projects, including leading design teams at some of the country’s largest airports. Matt has managed work at all sizes of airports in multiple states. He is at the forefront of the airport business as chair of the Airport Consultants Council and past-chair and member of the Engineering Committee.
Jeff Palin—Vice President
Jeff manages C&S’s industrial and private facilities architecture and engineering practice as well as our agency construction management group. He has been with C&S since 1988, spending the last thirty years managing a wide variety of facility design and construction projects. He oversees project management, structural and civil design, and construction services. His project experience includes airport terminal buildings, ARFF facilities, airport storage and maintenance hangars, vehicle maintenance, and industrial facilities. He is a graduate of Clarkson University, a licensed professional engineer in multiple states, and a LEED accredited professional.
John Camp—Vice President

John has been with C&S for more than 20 years and currently leads the infrastructure, environmental and site/civil group. John’s expertise includes hydrology, hydraulics, stormwater management and erosion control, site development, project review, and storm and sanitary sewer design. He is a certified floodplain manager, a certified professional in stormwater quality, and a certified professional in erosion and sediment control. John received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry and is a licensed engineer in numerous states.
Aileen Maguire Meyer—Vice President
Aileen has more than 25 years of professional experience as an engineer and planner. She serves as a project and program manager to deliver a range of architecture, engineering and planning services and supports the growth and development of the Rochester office. Aileen brings a diverse perspective having served in multiple roles at C&S in the aviation, transportation, and facilities practices. Aileen is a graduate of Boston University and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, is a licensed professional engineer, a certified planner, and an Envision Sustainability Professional.
Nicholas Cerro—Vice President
Nick oversees marketing and business development. In this role, he leads teams engaged in market research and analysis, strategic planning and development, market position and promotion, new business development, customer relationship management, and related activities across diverse market and service sectors. Nick has been with C&S for more than 25 years and holds an M.S. in Corporate Communication from Ithaca College and a B.A. in English from Le Moyne College.
Jennifer Smith—Corporate Counsel

Jennifer has been with C&S since 2008, serving as Assistant General Counsel and later Associate General Counsel before taking on her current role. Jennifer holds a BA in Economics (’97) and her Juris Doctorate (’01), both from Cornell University. Prior to coming to C&S, Jennifer was a practicing attorney in the public sector serving at both the local and federal level. Community service is very important to Jennifer and she serves on the Boards of Leadership Greater Syracuse and the SUNY College Environmental Science and Forestry Foundation. Jennifer is also the President of the C&S Foundation.
Kai Marion—Supplier Diversity Manager

Kai provides strategic leadership and MWBE program management for C&S. She has more than 20 years of experience implementing supplier diversity programs in the engineering and construction fields. Her responsibilities include program development, compliance monitoring, outreach, engagement, and reporting. Kai is a seasoned diversity professional who has provided testimony to the House Committee on Small Business. Her efforts have been recognized by the National Association of Minority Contractors SC Chapter and the Surety and Fidelity Association of America.
