Syracuse Label Light Manufacturing and Office Building
“C&S designed our new facility perfectly to fit our vision and also met our tight timeline. They supported the project from beginning to end with the utmost integrity and professionalism.” —Kathy Alaimo, President
C&S designed and provided construction phase services for a new 60,000-square-foot facility for Syracuse Label and Surround Printing. The building is a 52,000-square-foot pre-engineered metal building for production and warehousing, and an 8,000-square-foot conventionally constructed office area that wraps around the corner of metal building. The new office, production, and warehouse spaces are programmed to allow for lean manufacturing practices with efficient flow of employees and equipment. The building is designed for expansion so the company can continue to grow. Construction phase services included construction contract administration and construction inspection. C&S acted as the move coordinator to establish a schedule and protocol to move equipment between the existing and new facilities. This occurred over the course of two months and had to be sequenced so as not to impact day-to-day operations and ongoing printing orders.
