SUNY Brockport Site Improvements
C&S helped the College at Brockport’s address failing critical infrastructure on its North Campus, including pedestrian walks and plazas in disrepair, ADA compliance problems, and utility system assets needing repairs or replacement. C&S led the utility and site master planning, design, construction administration and inspection for major utility, infrastructure, and site improvements. The long-term vision includes upgrading electrical and communications infrastructure to increase capacity and redundancy, replacing aged unlined cast iron water pipe, demolishing abandoned high-temperature hot water tunnels, and improving the stormwater management system and sanitary sewer lines. Above-ground enhancements will create greater cross-campus connectivity with the south campus, west campus, and Erie Canal waterfront. Emergency access to all buildings will be improved. The overall project coordinates improvements through 15 different trades and will enhance the look and function of the campus for another 50 years.
