NYS Office of Parks, Recreation & Historic Preservation – Maintenance Building
C&S designed a new, centralized maintenance facility that will house all the disparate functions of the maintenance forces across the park. The site will also be designed to house a new state police headquarters.
The building is an approximately 15,000-square-foot, pre-engineered metal building that has an exterior aesthetic matching the existing context of the park with stone piers and insulated metal panel siding and trim of contextually appropriate colors. The building consists of a segregated, “clean” office area that houses the administrative and public access functions. Offices and a shared training and break room are allocated for maintenance employees as well as toilet and shower facilities.
