About the Project
Building on the success of the Pine Street project, the Erie County Department of Public Works is progressing the Maple Street Reconstruction Project. The purpose of this project is to rehabilitate approximately 0.4 miles of Maple Street from Main Street to the Village line. The project will address poor conditions along the road by completely reconstructing the roadway including replacing the pavement, drainage system, curbing, snow storage areas, driveway aprons and sidewalks (including curb ramps). Additional improvements include sidewalk replacement on the Maple Street bridge over Tannery Brook, updating signs and pavement markings, and utility relocations (sanitary pump station controls and one utility pole).
