Emergency Communications/911 System

We were retained by Broome County to provide program management services for the development of a new county-wide emergency communication system improvements. The $6 million program consists of various existing communications system improvements to a trunked land mobile radio network (TLMR). The project consists of scoping and concept design of the new system, frequency licensing, site development, procurement, and system implementation, including a six new radio tower sites and a new state-of-the-art microwave data network. Services we provided to the County include:

  • Development of RFPs for consultants and contractors
  • Consultant and contractor evaluations
  • Contract negotiation and development
  • Technical reviews
  • Schedule and budget review
