Community Center Renovation
C&S completed a major renovation project for THRIVE Wellness and Recovery. Our team transformed a 21,000-square-foot manufacturing building, originally over 100 years old, into a modern and welcoming space for wellness and recovery services.
Key Highlights of the Renovation:
- Extensive Updates: The building underwent significant updates, including the removal of hazardous materials like asbestos and lead paint. We also reinforced the structure with new materials to ensure safety and stability.
- Modern Amenities: We installed new plumbing to support 14 bathrooms, three exam rooms, and a breakroom. The renovation added a total of 95 new rooms, including a wellness room with ADA-compliant showers, a large group room with a movable partition, several small group rooms, a spacious reception area, conference rooms, and a secure dosing area for patient treatment.
- Exterior Improvements: The roof was repaired, and we installed new windows and doors. To enhance energy efficiency, we added 3-inch thick foam insulation around the entire building and finished the exterior with new metal siding.
- Interior Enhancements: Inside, we fitted the building with a new fire sprinkler system, HVAC, and electrical systems. We also installed a state-of-the-art security system with 25 cameras monitoring both the interior and exterior. The main entrance and reception areas feature ballistic-rated glass and walls for added security.
This renovation project has transformed the building into a safe, modern, and welcoming environment for THRIVE Wellness and Recovery to continue their vital work in the community.
