Monroe County Transportation Project Wins APWA Statewide Chapter Award

The American Public Works Association awarded C&S a State Award as Project of the Year – Transportation <5 – $25 Million for the Lake Road Phase II Improvement Project.  The award was presented at the NYS APWA Awards banquet held on Thursday March 23, 2023 in Binghamton, New York. The APWA Public Works Project of the Year Award was established to promote excellence in the management and administration of public works projects by recognizing the alliance between the managing agency, the consultant/architect/engineer, and the contractor who, working together, complete public works projects.

The project includes enhancements to the segment of Lake Road between Bay Road and Pellet Road in the Town of Webster, Monroe County. Additionally, this project also won the Public Works Project of the Year award from the APWA Genesee Valley Branch. More information can be found here.
