Orlando International Airport South Terminal C Wins ENR Southeast 2022 Award of Merit

The Orlando International Airport South Terminal C Airside project has been recognized by Engineering News Record (ENR). C&S was the prime structural design firm for the project, leading a team of national and local firms in the design of the campus’ structural systems for the main airside and landside terminal building, along with multiple auxiliary buildings including the ground transportation facility, parking garage, checkpoint stations, and a central energy power plant building.

ENR Southeast selected the project for the Award of Merit in the Airport/Transit category. As a 2022 Best Projects awardee, the Terminal C project was acknowledged for its innovative ideas, and was recognized as one of 32 winners from 93 submissions.

Designing and constructing such a complex project required the successful collaboration of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority and teams that included thousands of professionals, including many of C&S’s engineers, architects, and interior designers, to make the vision of Terminal C a reality.

All winning projects will be honored by ENR in Atlanta on November 11, 2022.
