Gleason Honored by Rochester Engineering Society

picture of Robert Gleason Robert Gleason, III, PE, senior project engineer in the Education, Healthcare and Public Facilities group, was recently honored by being named one of five finalists for the 2020 Kate Gleason Young Engineer of the Year Award by the Rochester Engineering Society. The purpose of the award is to recognize outstanding achievement in and contributions to the profession by young engineers in the Rochester region and to promote the importance of engineering practice to society. Rob has been in the electrical engineering field for eight years, and has gained experience in a number of different industries including substation design, protective relaying, building/facilities engineering and hydropower plants. He is a graduate of SUNY Broome Community College and SUNY Canton, and recently passed the PE exam to become a licensed engineer in New York state. Rob is also involved in numerous engineering organizations, a member of Leadership Rochester’s Class of 2021, and is very active in the Rochester community. Congratulations, Rob!
